My Work

I have over 30 years playing experience as a Semi Professional Guitarist.I also play Alto Sax and do Lead and Backing Vocals.

Over the years i have played most musical styles.

Currently I work playing Weddings and Functions doing music from the sixties right upto the current charts.

I mainly play lead guitar and I read music.

Because I read and have comprehensive experience of most music I find myself Depping a lot with other Bands playing various types of music.

I love teaching Guitar and Sax and travel to my students houses so you can learn in the comfort of your own home. Please note my charges including my travel time and expenses and also any sheet music/tablatures required or audio/video discs.

Currently I am working with the band Cool Reception.Check out their website on www.coolreception.com.We can also be seen on You Tube.

We mainly play all over Scotland and perform at Weddings and Corporate Events doing cover versions of sixties to current chart songs.

I currently play Gibson & Fender Electric Guitars and also love playing my Line6 Variax "Modelling" guitar.I use Peavey amps and Boss/Behringer effects.I have the GT-3 and VAMP PRO.

Acoustically I prefer Ovation & Yamaha. For microphones I prefer Beyer or Shure. Saxophones are Yamaha.I recently had my Strat refitted with White Fender Lace Sensor pickups and these are awsome and give that authentic classic Strat sound.
